Jason Kubel

Outfielder Jason Kubel of the New Britain Rock Cats awaits his turn to hit in the on deck circle at New Britain Stadium on May 21, 2004.

After this game Kubel was promoted by the Minnesota Twins to Triple A Rochester.

Since Kubel has gone on to play in the major leagues, seven seasons as a Twin in Minnesota and he is now in his second season as an Arizona Diamondback.

In his career Kubel averages 24 HRs and 94 RBI per season.

Tough Night for Big Baby

It was a tough night for LSU star Glen “Big Baby” Davis when the Tigers came to face UConn in 2006. Here Josh Boone (21) and Hilton Armstrong stopand stuff him in the paint.

 Members of the UConn women’s basketball team enjoy a night out at the 2005 UConn football season opener at Rentschler Field in East Hartford CT.  The football team beat Buffalo that night 30-0.
