Hanley Ramirez
Portland Sea Dogs shortstop Hanley Ramirez turns a double play against the Norwich Navigators in May 2005. After the season Ramirez was traded to Florida as part of the deal for Josh Beckett and Mike Lowell. He went on to be the 2006 NL Rookie of the Year.

Dustin Pedroia, Dirt Dawg
He was a dirt dawg from way back andhe continues to be and don’t think that a new 6 year contract worth $40.5 million is gonna change him. Dustin Pedroia has risen from a second round draft pick in 2004 out of Arizona State to 2007 AL Rookie of the Year, 2008 AL Gold Glove second baseman, 2008 AL Silver Slugger for Second Base and 2008 AL Most Valuable Player.

2 Alarm Blaze in Chelsea
Chelsea MA firefighters with help from Boston, Revere and Everett battle a two alarm blaze in a 3 story wood frame occupied apartment building on Shawmut St. On arrival they had heavy fire from the second floor extending up in the spring of 2001.
