
I’m not sure about other parts of the country but in Connecticut the local high schools play their rivals on Thanksgiving Eve or Thanksgiving Day. On those two days you can go to just about any town and see catch some great high school football.
In Enfield the towns two high schools (Enfield and Fermi) have been meeting up since 1973. And in the 2005 game Fermi’s Rocco Barile coughs up the ball as he gets hit by Enfield’s Wayne Newman in the snow.

It was a fun game to watch there we several good plays and some were enhanced by the weather conditions.
