The Geno Auriemma coaching tree is always growing and one of the star players turned star pupil is former UConn guard and national player of the year Jen Rizzotti. After she completed a playing career in WNBA Rizzotti has taken the reigns of the University of Hartford Hawks and done a great job turning around the program and leading it to the NCAA Tournament as well as winning America East Conference titles.

what timing this is on the day I post the Jen Rizzotti shots her team goes out and upsets #5 Duke.
Way to go Jen!
Just a side note her teams have now beaten a ranked team each of the last four seasons.
