Mark Twain House

Samuel Clemens, best known as Mark Twain, may have grown up on the Mississippi River he made famous in his writings but those writings were crafted as a resident of the City of Hartford CT where he and his family lived in this house on Farmington Avenue from 1874 to 1891.  The house is now a museum dedicated to the works of an American classic.
