Ann Strother

UConn’s Ann Strother was another one of those players I loved to watch.  She had a great shot, was a good free throw shooter and had exceptional skills.  For being a tall women she had more grace about her than most and even though I’ve seen taller female players she had incredible length to her that made her a tenacious defender as well.  At UConn she was a member of two national championship teams her freshman and sophomore years.

Ann graduated in 2006 and has since gone on to play overseas and with several teams in the WNBA as well as serving on the women’s basketball staff at the University of Colorado.

Editorial Note: This is the 300th post for Depth of Field Photo since the blog started on July 12th.  Thanks for visiting.
