A sinkhole destroyed a two unit commercial building at 1003-1005 East Main Street in Leesburg FL early Monday morning, June 27, 2011.  The damage occured around 0100 hours tearing out the C Side on the East Main Beauty Supply shop which sits on Crosby St. 

No injuries were reported and at this time officials have no idea what caused the sinkhole.  The building will most likely need to be raised.

    Ya it is scary they were very lucky it happened at 1 a.m. and not 1 p.m. Went by the building last week nothings really been with it (other than being fenced off) and its starting to collapse some more.
