Major League Baseball has a program called “RBI”.  It stands for “Reving Baseball in the Innercity” and it’s goal is to get city kids on the baseball fields again like they used to.

The problem is it’s hard to encourage the kids to play baseball when they are not allowed to be on an empty field on beautiful summer day like this one in Leesburg FL in late May 2012.

This is a shame and anyone should be allowed to use a city baseball field when it’s not being used for a league game.

Who will be the next Albert Pujols, Stephen Stasburg or Mike Trout if they can’t or aren’t allowed to get on the field?
