Normally on Friday I run a “Greatest Hits” post, something from the past. This week I am doing it today, this was originally posted on September 11, 2011 the tenth anniversary of the terrorist attacks on our nation.

This is a special series of posts on this Tuesday as we mark the 11th Anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks on the United States and New York City in particular. On May 1, 2011 President Barrack Obama confirmed the death of terrorist Osama Bin Laden, the 9/11 mastermind, in a firefight in Pakistan.
That is the devastation of the World Trade Center in Manhattan. All the photos you see were taken on September 27, 2001. Two weeks and two days after the terrorist attack that killed over 6,000 innocent people and 343 FDNY firefighters. The World Trade Center remains were shot from Rector St two blocks down from Trinity Church and Wall St.
