Normally on Friday I run a “Greatest Hits” post, something from the past. This week I am doing it today, this was originally posted on September 11, 2011 the tenth anniversary of the terrorist attacks on our nation.
The text has been edited to reflect the current dates:
The devastation from the World Trade Center what you see is part of the outer shell of one of the Twin Towers. The World Trade Center remains as shot from Rector St two blocks down from Trinity Church and Wall St. Today marks the 11th anniversary of the terrorist attack on America.
By standers and mourners gather as close as they can get to look at the remains of the World Trade Center.
Written in the dust on windows in Manhattan are messages; some from people looking for loved ones.
This was sent at 09:03. 10 years to the minute that the South Tower was struck.
