Samuel Webb House

This orginally was published on August 19, 2008.

This is the Samuel Webb house in Wethersfield CT it was built in 1752 and sits on the National Historic Landmark Registry.  It was in this house that Webb grew up in that General George Washington met with French General Comte de Rochambeau to discuss planning a joint milatary campaign that ended the American Revolution at Yorktown in 1781.  Webb himself was a hero at Bunker HIll and a close friend of Washington
