Helling pitched 12 years in the majors from 1994 to 2006 with five teams Texas, Florida, Milwaukee, Arizona and Baltimore plus his attempt to make the Twins.
He was 98-81 with a 4.68 ERA and a WHIP of 1.37 for his career. His best season was 1998 when he won 20 games with the Rangers going 20-7 with a 4.41 ERA and a 1.32 WHIP.
